Roberta Brown
Roberta’s focus is to share her story and to help other people. She wants to bring attention to the different layers of abuse. Not just the physical and mental aspects.
Roberta believes when people are being abused it becomes their “normal.”
She had a lot of pieces of the puzzle to fit together before she understood the enormity of it all.
Roberta received the final piece of the puzzle when she was 51. She is now almost 60.
After 31 years of therapy, with the same therapist (who also writes the foreword to her book), The Shoulding, her therapist helped her to dig in and understand why she has PTSD and the subsets of anxiety, agoraphobia and panic disorder.
